Tollywood News: So here we got another debut movie called Liger. The director and producer Karan Johar have shared the official poster of the movie Liger on social media. This film marked Vijay’s Bollywood debut or mark its presence in Hindi cinema. While sharing the new poster, Vijay Deverakonda wrote on social media that, the film took everything, mentally, and physically the most challenging role. The movie Liger was directed by Puri Jagannadh and co-produced by Karan Johar under his guidance.
The movie Liger will be released in five languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie also stars Ananya Panday in the lead role with Mike Tyson. The movie is based on a boy that was born and raised in the Mumbai streets and become a world champion in kickboxing. The actor Vijay will be seen as the kickboxer in the movie, the main focus is on the lead character Vijay and how he set his foot on the world championship. Vijay is a kickboxer who went from being a chaiwala in Mumbai to become a professional boxer, competing in the US.
The actor has also performed some daredevil stunt sequences for this movie, and it will be undoubtedly a real treat for his fans.
Apart from Vijay, the movie starred Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, Abdul Qadir Amin, and Mike Tyson in other crucial roles.
The movie was announced in 2019 and the title was announced in January 2021. Vijay plays a key role in the movie and went through a dramatic physical transformation for his role. He went to Thailand just for his training in martial arts. And that is why he wrote on his social media that the film took everything, mentally and physically the most challenging role. While sharing the same poster on social media, Karan said, Roz Roz aise gifts nahi milte, referring to Vijay’s look and instantly he got a response from Vijay’s fans.
While responding to the posts, one user wrote on Twitter, that it is very rare to see such types of actors accepting very bold roles and posing bold and this look reminds him the Aamir khan’s poster for the movie PK.
The superstar Vijay, the superstar of the South, has got fame after his successful movie in Telugu Pelli Choopulu in 2016 and since then, he is being starred in many other movies along with the Arjun Reddy which was remade in Hindi by the name Kabir Singh with having the Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as the main role.
