An overview:
The One Person Company or OPC is a type of private limited company governed by the Companies Act of 2013. It is owned by one individual who serves as the company's director and shareholder.Due to this, the name of the company ends in 'OPC PVT LTD' or 'OPC Private Limited'.
Documents Required: For the registration of OPC Company
- Copy of PAN card or Passport.
- In the case of NRIs and foreign nationals, a Passport is required.
- Scanned copy of voter's ID and driver's license.
- Latest gas or electricity bill/ Bank Account statement/ Mobile Bill or Landline Bill.
- Specimen signature
- Passport-size photographs
- Scanned copy of gas or electricity bill/ bank account statement/ mobile phone bill or landline bill and Rent Agreement, No-objection Certificate (NOC) from the owner of the property, in case the member owns the property, then a scanned copy of the sale deed.
The Procedure for Registring One-Person Company:
Step.1: DSC application
The creation of a one-person company requires a digital signature certificate since it is a digital process. DSCs can be obtained online in less than 24 hours and it is approved by DSC Certifing agency. In order to verify this information, there are three simple steps to follow:

Step.2: Name Approval Application:
In SPICe+, “RUN” is a part of SPICe+ that allows one-person companies to apply for a name. It is necessary to define object clauses and industrial activity codes when creating a company name application. Y
Step.3: fill out the spice+ form:

Step.4: Submission of E-memorandum of Association and E-articles of Association:

Step.5: Registration for TAN, PAN, and COI:
As soon as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs approves the above documents, the PAN, TAN, and Certificate of Incorporation will be issued. A company's PAN number and TAN number are automatically generated when it is incorporated.
