The National Institute of Open Schooling conducts the NIOS class 10 and class 12 exams twice yearly. Block I admission is during April or May, and Block II happens around October or November. Eligible students can then register for NIOS admission before the deadline. When applying for NIOS class 10 admission, you should submit the essential documentation. It includes a birth certificate, Aadhaar card, Signature, recent passport photo, Address proof, caste certificate, and class 8th mark sheet. NIOS allows students to continue their studies and achieve their academic goals effectively. 

Eligibility for NIOS admission 

Before applying for NIOS admission, you should check the eligibility criteria. Students who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria can proceed with the online admission. NIOS Class 10th and 12th has unique eligibility criteria so that you can check them in the NIOS’s official portal. The candidate should have at least fourteen years to apply for class 10th NIOS registration. 

Besides, the minimum age needed for class 12th NIOS registration is fifteen years. If the candidate is less than eligible age, the board does not allow them to attend the examination. The applicant should have completed class 8th from a recognized education board to apply for class 10th NIOS admission. 

Those who need to apply for NIOS class 12 admission have cleared class 10th from the recognized board. After completing the 10th class, you cannot attend the exam for some subjects in a single attempt. It means that the student can apply only for two or three subjects. 

Procedure to apply for NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 Admission  

The following are simple steps to apply for the NIOS 10th and 12th admission online. 

•    First, visit the NIOS’s official portal and click on admission session. 
•    Choose Stream I to apply for admission, and the application form will open 
•    Enter identity type, state, course, and identity number 
•    Recheck the application form and hit the submit button
•    Now, you should verify the email ID and mobile number 
•    Then, choose the certain subjects for which they should appear 
•    Select the exam center and upload the scanned document copy 
•    Before final submission, you must check the application form carefully 
•    Now you can make an application fee online and submit the form

Once you successfully submit the application form, you can track the NIOS admission status online. NIOS releases the hall ticket a few days after the examination. Therefore, you can attend the exam and achieve your academic goal.
