  1. Kadupul

Kadupul flower is a flower that belongs to the same family as the Quynh flower in Vietnam but is extremely rare, and can only be found in the forests of Sri Lanka. This is considered one of the most beautiful and rare flowers in the world. This flower is especially revered by Buddhism for spiritual reasons. In Japan, the Kadupul flower is also known as “beauty under the moonlight”.

 

Kadupul flower is named after the Hindu god – the god of creation. The Kadupul flower is white in color and has an elegant scent. It only blooms at night and quickly withers before dawn. This is considered a “priceless” flower because no gardener in the world can grow this flower, so it is not sold anywhere in the world.

Shenzhen Nongke Orchid is currently considered one of the most expensive flowers in the world. In 2005, it was auctioned for a shocking price of 202,000 USD (nearly 5 billion VND).

 

This is not a natural flower but was created by human hands at the Nongke company’s laboratory, Shenzhen (China), so it has the name Shenzhen Nongke orchid. This is the result of 8 years of observation and nurturing, the time it took flower researchers to develop this beautiful orchid. Not only is it difficult to grow, but the waiting time for it to bloom is also very long, lasting 4-5 years. At the same time, only the most beautiful and attractive flowers are allowed to be put on the market, so it is understandable that their prices are extremely expensive. This flower is also something that makes many Chinese people feel proud.

  1. The Gold of Kinabalu orchid

The Gold of Kinabalu orchid is also known as the Rothschild orchid, because it is in danger of extinction, so to be able to own this rare flower, people have to spend $6,000 or more for a branch of it. This is a fairly large slipper orchid, with dark green leaves up to 30 – 40 centimeters long, 4 – 5 centimeters across. The flower grows from the top, about 30 – 50 centimeters high, has 3 – 6 flowers, 4 – 7 centimeters long flower ovary, and two sepals up to 10 – 18 centimeters long.

 

In 1988, Jean Jules Linden named it Paphiopedilum rothschildianum in honor of Count Ferdinand James Von Rothschild, a famous herbalist who grew orchids, and then other scientists continued to research this orchid. However, it was later devastated by orchid smugglers and nearly became extinct. Currently, the Gold of Kinabalu orchid orchid is only found in Kinabalu National Park in Sabah, Malaysia. This special flower blooms only once every 15 years between April and May, and is considered “Kinabalu’s Gold”. This is one of the endangered flowers. Because of this rarity, people have to spend $6,000 (about 136 million VND) or more for a branch of it.

Juliet rose has long been named the queen of roses by rose lovers. It is not natural that the flower is called “million dollar rose” (Juliet is sold for nearly 5 million USD). The father of Juliet rose is famous rose breeder David Austin, he spent a lot of time and cost up to 3 million dollars over 15 years to breed this extremely beautiful rose variety.

Juliet with its attractive salmon-orange yellow color and gentle green tea scent has captivated many people who love and care for roses. Possessing brilliant beauty, meticulous arrangement of petals down to every centimeter, combined with a gentle, pleasant fragrance, this is also a cut rose variety that creates extremely beautiful bouquets. In particular, even though it is an exotic rose variety, Juliet rose can still be grown in Vietnam’s climatic conditions. This flower is always at the top of the best-selling infrared rose varieties in Vietnam.

Saffron has an extremely expensive price and is known as the “red gold” of the Middle East because Saffron is extremely rare and has very low yields. Each year, only one crop is harvested, from October to November every year. Saffron has a strong fragrance and characteristic color, is rich in antioxidants and has many health benefits.
