Smrt Giving Platforms To Local Artists Perform On Stations & Make Commuter Of Passengers Enjoyable 

Singapore's efficient and cost-effective transportation system of SMRT has made the lives of passengers simple. 3-Year Deal with SMRT & MOU for Encouraging Talent 

Certainly, SMRT helps daily commuters to travel widely across the city affordably, comfortably, and effectively. Not only this, the leading rail corporation encourages a diverse range of singing, music, poetry, and other talent after signing a three-year deal with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). It's for the purpose of allowing home-grown artists to perform live across different SMRT train stations and even bus exchanges to capture the attention and widespread applause of commuters all around. Doing this will allow the SMRT to make the daily travel of passengers all the more entertaining, interesting, and memorable. 

Daily Music Broadcast Across 122 SMRT Train Stations 

As an integral part of the 3-year deal of SMRT with MOU, local artists of Singapore will perform on a daily basis across 122 SMRT stations. And, specifically across MRT and LRT stations on the platforms of the North-South, East-West, Circle, and Thomson-East Coast lines – as well as the Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands, and Bukit Panjang bus interchanges, from 7 to 10 am, noon to 2 pm, and 4.30 to 8.30 pm.  

Also, as per the schedule of artists performing on SMRT stations, they will play at the Bukit Panjang LRT stations from 7 to 10 am, 11.30 am to 2.30 pm, and 5 to 8 pm. Another interesting thing to know is that in SMRT's year-long campaign, there will be three different playlists that will feature 53 Singaporean artists with 50 unique songs. To be precise, there will be leading music labels like Universal Music Singapore, Warner Music Singapore, and Sony Music Singapore will come as part of the campaign.

Speaking straight on the interesting music campaign initiated by SMRT in collaboration with MOU, Minister of State for Culture Community & Youth Law Yen Ling had to say something, "This campaign will transform the SMRT public transport system into a very dynamic stage to showcase our home-grown talent and enable them to reach new audiences.”
