In daily work and production, welded tubes stored for a long time should be inspected regularly. The exposed welded pipes should always keep the surface clean, remove dirt, and store them neatly in a ventilated and dry place indoors. It is strictly forbidden to pile up in the open air or in a humid place. Always keep the welded pipe dry and ventilated, keep it clean, and store it according to the correct storage method.

1. The storage place or warehouse of steel pipe products should be selected in a clean and tidy place with safe drainage and away from factories and mines that produce harmful gases or dust. Weeds and all debris should be removed from the site and the steel kept clean.

2. It shall not be stacked in the warehouse together with acids, alkalis, salts, and materials corrosive to steel (such as cement). Different types of steel should be stacked separately to prevent confusion and prevent contact corrosion.

3. Large-section steel, guide rails, shame steel plates, large-diameter steel pipes, forgings, etc. can be stacked in the open air.

4. Small and medium-sized steel, wire rods, steel bars, medium-caliber steel pipes, steel wires, and wire ropes can be stored in well-ventilated sheds, but they must be loaded and unloaded.

5. Some small steel, thin steel plate, steel plate, silicon steel plate, small-diameter or thin-walled steel pipe, various cold-rolled, cold-drawn steel and high-priced, corrosive metal products can be stored in the warehouse.

6. The warehouse should be selected according to the geographical conditions. Generally, a general closed warehouse is used, that is, there are roofs and walls, warehouses, tight doors and windows, and ventilation facilities.

7. The warehouse needs to be ventilated in sunny days, and moisture-proof in rainy days, and a suitable storage environment should be maintained frequently.

During installation, the welded pipe can be directly welded on the pipeline according to the connection method, and installed according to the position of use. Generally, it can be installed at any position of the pipeline, but it needs to be easy to check the operation. Pay attention to the medium flow direction of the welded pipe. It should be installed horizontally or vertically. When installing, pay attention to the tightness of the welded pipe to avoid leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipe.

Going back to the processing of welded pipes, bending and stretching is a process of deep processing of welded pipes, and in this process, weld cracks are prone to occur, resulting in a large number of waste products. In order to prevent similar problems from happening, it is necessary to use a suitable lubricant, which has a significant effect on the drawing and bending of the welded pipe.

Since the lubricant can form a film with certain toughness and elongation between the convex and concave dies, it is beneficial to the deep drawing and bending of the welded pipe. Polyvinyl fluoride film can be used as a lubricant in actual production. Polyvinyl fluoride film has excellent tear strength, certain toughness and elongation, and is easy to clean.

After coating the dry film, the dry film can deform with the billet during the drawing process, always separating the billet from the mold. In addition, the film itself has a certain porosity and a large number of fiber cracks, so it can also store a certain amount of lubricating oil, so the film is equivalent to a layer of dry film lubricant. This lubrication method can effectively isolate the deformed welded pipe from the surface of the mold, has a good lubrication effect, and is conducive to improving the service life of the mold and the qualified rate of finished products.
