The Production Process Of A500 Square Tube

The production process of a500 square tube

A500 square tube is a hollow long strip of steel, also known as flat tube, flat square tube or square flat tube. When the bending and torsional strength are the same, the weight is lighter, so it is widely used in the manufacture of mechanical parts and engineering structures.

The production process of a500 square tube:

Raw material preparation→slitting unit→decoiling and leveling→cutting butt welding→loop storage→guiding platform→rough forming→finish forming→extrusion welding→scraping welding scars→water cooling→positioning and straightening→tracking and flying cutting→finished product sorting→finished product packaging

There are two types of a500 square tube: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The hot-dip galvanized rectangular tube has a thick galvanized layer, which has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life. The cost of electro-galvanizing is low, the surface is not very smooth, and its own corrosion resistance is much worse than that of hot rectangular tubes. The appearance is of good quality and the finish is high. Leather and other defects, good appearance quality, high finish. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled products is high and the dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled products is high, and the performance and design of the products can meet some special application requirements.

Many defects of a500 square tube are caused by the perforation, so the work transfer process of the tube blank is the key procedure for the production of the square tube. The main difficulty of high-alloy piercing lies in the low piercing performance. In order to ensure the quality, the deformation parameters of piercing must be rationally selected. A small amount of compression will cause instability in the piercing process, so the critical compression amount of the plug should generally be set at about 7% of the front compression amount, otherwise it will not be able to bite, or even increase in movement or front jamming. Increased compression at the front of the plug can also create cavities and sink defects inside. Therefore, if you want to overcome the problem, the tube blank must be centered, and the depth of the centered space should be compared with other steel types.

Hot-rolled square tubes, continuous casting slabs, and blooming plates are used as raw materials, and then go through a heating furnace, that is, using high-pressure water, to remove phosphorus from the surface. Then use the rough rolling mill, in the rough rolling mill mainly cut off the head and tail of the square tube, then in the pipe, and then feed to the finishing mill, computer-controlled precision rolling. After the rectangular tube is laminarly cooled, it is coiled after rolling, and then crimped. However, when recurled, uneven thickness often occurs and edges are prone to blemishes. Then crimp again, trim and straighten after processing the cutting head to ensure the thickness and precision of the rectangular tube.
